Wahoolio of North Carolina recently commented on Trip Advisor regarding the Hoot N’ Holler Dinner Show. “So my 6-year-old and I were headed through the area on our way back home from Nashville to NC. We only had a couple of days, most of which I wanted to spend in the Park, which was spectacular. I figured, however, that while we were close by, she might as well get her first taste of the “Vegas of the Appalachians” (i.e., Pigeon Forge and/or Gatlinburg).
Looking for a family friendly dinner show for our last night in the area, I came across Hoot N’ Holler here on TA. I was a bit skeptical, thinking that this would be a bit too hokey for my taste. Wasn’t sure if my little girl would enjoy either the food or entertainment, but she went for free, so I figured, “what the heck?”
I don’t care how sophisticated you think your sense of humor might be — YOU WILL LAUGH A LOT AT THIS SHOW. If you’ve been to Disney World, think Hoop Dee Doo Review, but less hokey and more improvised/clever. My little girl was happily mesmerized and singing along, even if she didn’t get 50% of the jokes. The food is nothing spectacular, but not bad for a dinner theater. As they say in the show, at least it’s not the typical “ribs and chicken” fare so common at similar establishments in the area.
Don’t hesitate – go. You won’t be disappointed.” For more information & reviews like this on The Hoot N’ Holler Dinner Show & other Things to do in Pigeon Forge please visit Trip Advisor.
